Rules
You must be at least 18 years old to play Massachusetts Lottery games.
- Mass Cash
Mass Cash is Massachusetts' own draw game with a $100,000 jackpot! Daily drawings mean there are plenty of chances to win.
Drawings take place seven nights a week at 10:00 PM ET. Ticket sales for that night's draw open at 5:00 AM and close at 9:45 PM. If you purchase your ticket after the cut-off time, you will be entered into the next day's draw.
How Do You Play Mass Cash?
You need to be 18 or older to play. To get started, just complete a play slip at an authorized retailer, or play online. Each play slip has five panels and each panel is printed with numbers from one to 35. Each panel is one bet, so you can play up to five times on one play slip. Each play costs $1.
Since it started in March 1991, Mass Cash has been a 'pick 5' game where you choose five numbers. For each panel you want to play, choose your five lucky numbers from one through 35 - or check the Quic Pic box to have your numbers generated randomly for one or more of your plays.
You can also play your lucky numbers for multiple consecutive draws with the advance play feature. Simply mark the number of drawings you'd like to play.
If you make a mistake anywhere on your play slip, check the Void box under that panel.
Don't forget to check your ticket carefully and then sign the back and keep it in a safe place.
At 10:00 PM ET every night, the drawing is held in a secure area in Braintree, using a lotto machine to ensure the numbers really are picked at random. Just in case there's a problem with the machine, the Massachusetts Lottery keeps a spare one as a backup so nothing will prevent the night's draw from going ahead.
